Plain rice



  1. Wash one cup of basmati rice, three times with enough water.
  2. Put washed basmati rice and one table spoon of ghee in the pressure cooker.
  3. Add 1 and a quarter cup of water to the pressure cooker contents. Close the lid of the pressure cooker and cook for one whistle on full heat. Then stop cooking but do not release the pressure. Let it cool down on its own.
  4. Open lid and move around the grains so that they do not set.
  5. Serve with any curry.
