- 1 chopped new guinea bean
- 2 spoon desi ghee
- Pinch of cumin seed
- 1 big onion, long chopped
- Half table spoon of salt
- Half table spoon of green chilli
- 1 table spoon of coriander powder
- Fresh green coriander leaves
Heat 2 spoon full of olive oil or ghee in a pressure cooker.
Add a pinch of cumin seeds and one spoon of garlic (paste or chopped) and fry for not more than half half minute.
Now add long chopped onions and cook them for a couple of minutes. Separate out the layers of onion by hitting them softly inside the pressure cooker. Add some salt and then again cook it for few more minutes until onions turn light brown in colour.
Now add all the spices according to the quantity of the curry and your taste. For example, Half table spoon of each: salt, green chilli and turmeric.
Add chopped cubes of new guinea bean. Mix and let it cook for 2 minutes. Close the lid of the pressure cooker and cook for two whistles on full heat. Do not release the pressure.
After cooling, open the lid of the pressure cooker and crush most bigger pieces using a wooden spoon. Cook again for 5 minutes on full heat to dry off the extra water. Keep stirring so that the vegetagble do not burn at the bottom.
Add one table spoon of coriander powder in the end after cooking.
Garnish with fresh green coriander and serve.
